As a legacy of New York's Roaring Twenties, our Sparklets New York Soda Siphon has witnessed the construction of the Empire State Building, the arrival of transatlantic liners, the wild nights at the Cotton Club, and the Wall Street Crash. We have painstakingly brought it back to life, completely restored.

New York transformed into one of the world's most dazzling cities in the 1920s. Jazz culture, skyscrapers and finance shot up side-by-side in the city's streets. It is the era of the legendary Great Gatsby with all its decadence. As a symbol of social status, sales of Sparklets siphons exploded in 1925 and 1926.
Due to their age and the small quantities produced, our Sparklets New York Soda Seltzer Bottles are a rare heritage from this era. At a subsidiary of the company “Sparklets”, originally from London, the siphons were manufactured locally, “Made in USA”.
Each of our restored soda siphons is an original from the 1920s. These were manufactured to high standards of durability and craftsmanship. All replacement parts used by us are either originals or have been specially manufactured by us for this purpose. This ensures that the original condition is preserved as much as possible. Despite their age, the restored siphons can also be used in everyday life – they don't need to be handled with kid gloves.
The soda siphon is a so-called C-type (meaning the cartridge holder remains on the seltzer bottle during operation, which is characteristic of the 1920s models). The hand-blown glass bottle was manufactured in Czechoslovakia between 1920 and 1930.
The original holder is only present on around a third of all seltzer bottles. If the original holder is lost, the delivery includes a metal holder specially manufactured for us, designed in a similar style to the original holders.
