The glamour of the Roaring Twenties! At the end of the First World War, Paris breathes hope and excitement. A wind of modernisation blows through the city as the Art Deco movement and fashionable Coco Chanel find ever-increasing approval. Paris's cultural scene radiated out to the entire world. Bistros and brasseries used their siphons to quench the thirst of the reveling Parisians.<\/p>

Each of our restored soda siphons is an original from the 1920s. These were manufactured to very high standards of durability and craftsmanship. All replacement parts used by us are either original or were specially manufactured by us for this purpose. This ensures that the original condition is preserved as far as possible. Despite their age, the restored siphons can also be used in everyday life \u2013 they don't need to be handled with kid gloves.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The soda siphon is a so-called C-type (meaning the cartridge holder remains on the seltzer bottle during operation, which is characteristic of the 1920s models). The hand-blown glass bottle was manufactured in Czechoslovakia between 1920 and 1930.<\/p>\n

    The original holder is only present on around a third of all seltzer bottles.
